Purugly are assholes and bullies so hes going to want a spritz bottle and to establish dominance asap. Blisseys on the other hand are basically nurses. their eggs are A+ but "consuming whole eggs will compel people or Pokémon to act just as kindly as Blissey to others until the nutrients from the eggs pass through their systems".

honestly he might just wanna feed the Purugly the eggs to keep it from being a jackass

The Blissey really doesn't care what happens to the egg? That's... weird, but sounds like normal Pokemon stuff.

What about fruit? Vegetables? Is the Purugly an obligate carnivore like a house cat? Does the Blissey eat feelings like a Ralts?

all Pokemon eat berries usually, you can get them in Kanto. otherwise Blissey are herbivores and Purugly will eat anything it can get its paws on. hope the guy has locks on his cabinets
